Help Community Autism Resources and Education Systems shine a light on the need for services and support for families facing autism. There are 6,000 children in WV that have been dianosed with autism with 1,200 of those children living in Putnam, Kanawha and Cabell Counties. Currently, only 10% of those children receive the services they need due to lack of providers. All funds raised go toward CARES monthly family programs and events, adovocay and education for caregivers, recruiting/retaining therapy providers for our area, and facilitating inclusion in our community.
CARES Winter Gala will begin at 6pm for Cocktail Hour and Opening of the Silent Auction bidding. Dinner will be served at 7pm with live music entertainment followed by our Donor Appreciation Awards and live auction of larger items.
